Smaato Partners with HUMAN to Boost Platform Security Against Fraud

Smaato’s Digital Ad Tech Platform has partnered with HUMAN to remove fraudulent inventory, ensuring a safe and secure omnichannel platform for publishers to manage their entire ad stack.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA., August 10, 2021 — Smaato, a completely omnichannel digital ad-tech platform and ad server, announces today their integration with cybersecurity company HUMAN Security, Inc. (formerly White Ops), whose unique Human Verification Engine™ roots out fraud before it can impact the bottom line. Smaato’s partnership with HUMAN, in conjunction with Smaato’s own sophisticated automated systems that intersect with human expertise, boost safety and security on the platform for publishers and marketers alike.

Simply put, Smaato’s omnichannel approach provides better fraud detection across all channels.

Stopping sophisticated ad fraud schemes is a collective effort, and this partnership bolsters the united front against fraud, protecting omnichannel trends like OTT/CTV that are particularly vulnerable to fraud.

Smaato’s automated detection methods use advanced algorithms and machine learning to scan advertisements for quality. If bad ads or anything malicious is detected, automatic blocks take place. A multi-level check includes customer identification programs and stringent traffic reviews to provide advertisers with only the best traffic.

A recent ad fraud scheme risked publishers’ reputation and thwarted ad dollars. With the HUMAN partnership, Smaato is even more equipped to protect publishers and marketers.

Smaato built its OTT/CTV platform, launched in March of 2020, with fraud prevention in mind.
