Partner Development Manager

Smaato is a pioneering mobile advertising company and a leader in ad network mediation with over 35 Ad Sales network partners globally to service mobile publishers who have signed up with Smaato. Smaato provides mobile advertising technology and services for mobile developers and mobile web content owners and currently delivers mobile advertising in over 200 countries.

Looking for a highly motivated sales person to sign on mobile application developers/publishers interested in monetizing their applications with advertising. The company is a privately held and is the leader of “in application” ad enablement of mobile phone applications as well as providing ad network aggregation services to deliver mobile advertising to its network of mobile application developer/publishers. Candidate must have experience in software sales and understanding of digital advertising is a plus.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Identify, qualify and successfully sign on mobile application developers and mobile publishers
  • Ability to understand technical details and sell a technical solution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to details and follow up abilities
  • Comfortable cold calling and developing a relationship over the phone and email
  • Generate leads by representing company at tradeshows and developer events
  • Ability to prioritize accounts and multi-task effectively to meet deadlines and quotas
  • Act as liaison between Operations and Development team to help developer roll out ad enabled applications
  • Work closely with Strategic Alliances, Operations , and Technical teams
  • Provide weekly sales status reports and maintain effective communications with management

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 to 2 years software sales experience
  • Experience and understanding of digital advertising space a plus
  • Demonstrated track record of working successfully in a sales environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage multiple relationships across organizations
  • Proactive versus reactive thinker that maintains a positive attitude and can come up with practical solutions
  • Self motivated and able to work independently as well as be a team player
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Extremely organized but flexible and highly motivated
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills

 

Compensation includes base salary, stock options and a strong commission package
