Manager Client Services

Job Location: Hamburg, Germany

Smaato is the leader of “in application” ad enablement of mobile phone applications as well as providing ad network aggregation services to deliver mobile advertising to its network of mobile application developer/publishers.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with and reports to SVP Sales and Senior Manager Client Services
  • Coordinates with Senior Manager Client Services and counterpart in San Francisco to monitor and control Publisher’s traffic
  • Will provide with counterpart in Hamburg solutions to resolve customer service issues, streamlines business operations and provides technical support
  • Identifies client technical requirements and works with Professional Services to scope, prioritizes and develops them
  • Will act as customer liaisons and will be the point of contact for the client
  • Evaluates problems and situations to determine their importance and urgency
  • Conducts research and process adjustments independently or in concert with other team members or departments to the mutual satisfaction of the client
  • Performs research regarding account issues or inquiries and responds to the appropriate client after the issue has been resolved
  • Places outbound calls as needed to obtain information and provides solutions to the client, appropriately documents the phone call
  • Responds in a professional, timely and empathetic manner to both telephone and written inquiries from clients

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years interactive advertising experience, ideally in an Ad Network
  • Comes with existing Agency and Ad Network relationships/ contacts
  • Demonstrated project and program management skills
  • Excellent customer relationship skills (Client facing, ability to asses client needs and interact with all levels of management including and up to executive level)
  • Good with numbers, analytical and inquisitive by nature
  • Proactive versus reactive thinker that maintains a positive attitude and can come up with practical solutions
  • Dependable, self motivated individual who is able to work independently as well as be a good team member
  • Can do attitude and works well under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Extremely organized and highly motivated and ability to multi-task
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills
