Through this partnership, Smaato and Third Screen Media will enhance the mobile reach especially to smartphones and extend the rapidly growing mobile advertising business. Through its TSM|Network, Third Screen Media will sell, manage and deliver advertising for SOMA “ Smaato’s Open Mobile Advertising Platform“ and its turnkey in-application advertising solution to agencies and brands in the U.S.

Smaato, pioneering developer of ad-enabling technology for mobile phones, has entered partnerships with Handmark Inc. iambic Inc., Sendandsee Ltd., SplashData Inc and Spb Software House for ad-enabling some of their upcoming mobile software solutions.
With this major support Smaato positions itself as the leader in the mobile advertising space, focusing on In-Application advertising: Smaato has now a global market potential of over 3 million addressable mobile users.

Orlando, Fla. - March 23, 2007 - Smaato Inc., pioneering developer of ad-enabled applications for mobile phones, today announced a strategic partnership with Handmark, a global leader in mobile media. Through this partnership, Handmark will distribute the free, ad-supported Smaato RSS NewsReader through its distribution channels, beginning with www.handmark.com this summer.

The ad-supported Smaato News is a modern RSS-reader for smartphones that allow users to read the RSS-feeds of their favorite blogs, Web sites and other news from their mobile device.

Smaato News: Free RSS Reader now for Symbian S60 Smartphones

Smaato Inc. is announcing today the availability of it’s free RSS news reader software Smaato News for Symbian S60 smartphones. Smaato News is the first Symbian application using the new SOMA mobile advertising platform, which allows developers to show advertising within their applications. Smaato News is an easy to use mobile RSS newsreader for smartphones. Mobile users can subscribe to their favorite news feeds or blogs directly on their phones and read them “off-line”.
